DR. OCAMPO TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN TO WHAT I WANTED

I had my first appointment with Dr. Ocampo in October 2014. As soon as his nurse, Dorothy, invited me in the office, I knew I was in the right place. Dr. Ocampo took the time to listen to what I wanted, then he gave me suggestions on what he felt would be better. He was completely right. I had surgery on a Thursday in December 2014. As with all surgery, there was pain and nausea. By Friday morning, I no longer had the pains that I had been dealing with for year... the decades of pain was gone!I took it easy that weekend...by Saturday I was doing great and out to dinner on Sunday. Monday I was getting my hair done at the salon and feeling great. 

I was a bulging DD cup. I am now a perky B cup. Now I have the chest that fits my body perfectly. I never knew that I would look so much thinner and younger by reducing my breasts. i have no pain, look great and feel wonderful.

HE GAVE ME PEACE OF MIND

I chose Dr. Ocampo for two main reasons (this is before I really had a chance to get to know him); he was referred to me by Dr. T. and during our consultation, unlike any of the other plastic surgeons I had met, he took the time to sit and talk to me about what was important - ME. He needed to know how strong I was, both physically and mentally.  He needed to know if I was a reasonable person, as truly only God has the ability to create perfection. And he asked me who would be caring for me throughout this physically and mentally challenging journey.

Drs. T. and Ocampo performed my surgeries late Aug 2014.  As Dr. T. removed my breast tissue and gathered everything he needed to determine my treatment.  Dr. Ocampo began the very first stage of reconstruction by placing the temporary expanders.

Knowing that I was going home alone, on the day I was discharged from the hospital, Dr. Ocampo’s office contacted me to ask how I was feeling and to assure me that that hospital organized for a nurse to check up on me and assist with the drains. They let me know what to expect and scheduled our first follow up.

From that point forward I was in Dr. Ocampo’s kind, capable hands. In the 1 ½ years following the major surgery, Dr. Ocampo performed X surgeries and reconstructed my breasts to look better than the originals. The fact that my breasts turned out better than the originals was important, but it was not what was most important to me. He gave me peace of mind; I knew that I had a doctor who truly cared about my well-being.
